A new year, a perfect gift

New Year’s Eve is always a chance for me to take a step back to examine three moments in my life. The past, the present, and the future. I encourage you to ask yourself: “Where was God in my life this past year? Where do I see God active in my life now? How do I want to grow closer to God in this new year?” Reflecting on our past, our present, and looking to the future can be a joyful time if we see how God has worked, is working, and will work through it all. In this Christmastide, let us rejoice in the gift of life the Lord has given us as we prepare for the New Year!
